You don’t need another wellness retreat.

At least, not the sort where you find your inner child while drinking lukewarm herbal tea. Not the sort where you wear an alarming amount of beige linen, take a vow of silence, or “release what no longer serves you” (unless that’s your thing).

Being well definitely shouldn’t feel like work.

So why do most retreats require: being in with the right yoga teacher, taking four days off work, reading approximately 608 WhatsApp messages from 46 strangers, trekking to an impossible-to-get-to destination, and arriving to discover the big room is already taken?

Are you having fun yet?

Getting away should be a whole lot easier. And, once you get there, it should actually be fun.

That’s where we come in. We’re the bit that brings it all together; brilliant hosts, beautiful spaces and memorable experiences, all curated and booked in one place.

We created 34 Rumgally because we believe in the good stuff: moving your body, eating brilliantly, sleeping properly, being somewhere beautiful, meeting nice people, trying something new—and coming home feeling noticeably better than when you left.

A little bit of challenge. A little bit of indulgence. A lot of good company. And absolutely no guilt about enjoying any of it.

Robbie

Robbie has spent his career in the world of sport and wellbeing, building programmes and businesses designed to help people live healthier, more energetic lives—without making fitness feel like another full-time job.

A former professional athlete-turned-performance coach to some of the world’s most discerning clients, Robbie also happens to have organised retreats in some pretty spectacular places: Scotland, Monaco, the Cotswolds and London, to name a few.

He’s the person who knows exactly how hard a workout should be, how much protein people actually need afterwards, and why the answer to almost every problem is probably a walk and a chat.

At 34 Rumgally, Robbie brings the wellness expertise, the retreat experience and the slightly neurotic attention to having a very good time.

Yuji is a corporate finance lawyer, mother of two and qualified yoga teacher who has lived all over the US, Asia and, for the last 15 years, London.

Meaning, she’s spent a disproportionate amount of time moving between countries, careers and cultures—and has developed a fairly strong opinion on what makes somewhere worth going and something worth doing.

Yuji brings the other half of 34 Rumgally: the to-do list checker, agenda maker, spreadsheet tinkerer and professional devil’s advocate, alongside a love of unique places, memorable experiences and thought-provoking conversation.

She’s the person most likely to remind Robbie that a 34 Rumgally getaway is not one of his fabled singles retreats and, by the way, does this retreat really need another ice bath?
